The Badge for Shooting Down Low-Flying Aircraft was instituted on January 12, 1945, and conferred upon military personnel who successfully shot down aircraft with small arms or light machine gun fire.

The I Class (Gold) was awarded for successfully shooting down five aircrafts.

It is unknown whether this award was produced and conferred during the Second World War.
