    Established by Queen Margrethe II, this medal was conferred upon individuals who are part of the Royal Family, individuals part of the Royal Household and other high ranking individuals who were associated with the Royal Court on the day of the Silver Wedding of Queen Margrethe II, and French diplomat Henri de Laborde de Monpezat.

    The reverse of the medal is engraved with the date of the wedding.
