History


Established by King Frederick IX, this medal was awarded to recognize individuals who are employees of the Danish Air Force and have rendered 25 years of good service.

Both men and women were eligible to receive this award.

Individuals who have rendered 40 years of service may receive a gold oak leaf clasp on the medal's ribbon.

This medal has the exact same obverse and reverse as the Department of Defence Long Service Medal.
