History

This Order was established by King Mohammed V as Morocco's highest Order. It was conferred upon members of the Royal Family, Heads of State, Monarchs, and foreign Princes and Princesses. In special cases, it could be awarded to civil or military Moroccan leaders and civilians.

This Order is also known as the Over of Sovereignty.
