Russia, Imperial. A 1814 Capture of Paris Campaign Medal
Silver, 28.5 mm, ring removed and replaced with a hole drilled at the top, bruised, edge nicks, fine.
This medal was established during the reign of Alexander I in commemoration of the siege of Paris in March of 1814.
It was conferred upon officers, non-commissioned officers, and enlisted men who assisted in the siege of Paris.
The reverse inscription translates to: "For the Taking of Paris 19 March 1814".
