The Lebanese Peace Keeping Force Medal was instituted in 1976 to reward military personnel of any rank for service in the Lebanese Peace Keeping Forces between 1976 and 1979. Civilians and foreigners may also be eligible for the award in recognition of beneficial contributions to the United Arab Emirates deployment.
The Medal features an Arabic inscription on the obverse which translates to "Lebanon 1976" as well as on the reverse which translates to "The State of the United Arab Emirates Peace Keeping Force."
