The Order of the Syrian Family was established by Legislative Decree on March 4 or 18, 1952, as a motherhood award to promote children. The Order is presented in 5 Classes.
The III Class Medal is composed of silver and gold and is conferred upon mothers who have reared between 9 and 11 children.
