History


The Thirtieth Anniversary Medal was instituted by Sultan Qaboos in 2000 in commemoration of the Sultan's 30th anniversary of the accession to the throne of Oman. The Medal was issued to personnel who provided service on November 18, 2000.

The obverse features an inscription in Arabic. The reverse is dated in the Arabic numerals "2000" and "1970".
