In silver gilt with red, white, green and light blue enamels, maker marked "Huguenin" marked "0925" (silver) and hallmarked with the conjoined letters "HF" (Huguenin Frères) on the reverse, chipping evident in the red enamels on the centrepiece, scattered gilt wear on the rays, gilt wreath on its lightly soiled original ribbon, with safety pin attachment.
The Order of Glory (Nishan-i-Iftikhar) was instituted during the Pahlavi reign in 1937. It is believed that the Order was issued in 2 Grades in gold and silver. There may be additional grades, but more information is needed.
The SGold Star is thought to have been issued as the I Grade award.
Decorations worn by a laurel wreath suspension and gold and silver coloured clasps of a laurel wreath design are known to exist, but more research is required to verify their purpose.
