History

The Order of Military Duty (Wissam al-Wajib al-Askari) was instituted by Amir 'Isa II in 1991. The Order is awarded in recognition of distinguished forces provided to Bahrain's military forces.

There may be additional classes authorized for award with the Order. More information is necessary.
