Julius Eduard Keibel
Julius Eduard Keibel was born in 1825, in St. Petersburg, to the family of Johann Wilhelm Keibel. He was taught by his father and became a merchant of the first guild in 1859. He worked in his own business from 1844 – 1862, prior to inheriting his father’s shop. He was awarded the imperial warrant for the production of all Russian Orders from 1862 until his death in 1882. His son, Albert Konstantin Keibel took over the shop and continued the family legacy.
