History
Born in St. Petersburg in 1854, Albert Konstantin Keibel became a prominent German jeweller, goldsmith and silversmith. He was taught by his father (Julius Eduard Keibel) and eventually inherited the family workshop, located at 30 Bolshaya Zelenina Street in 1882. Between 1882 – 1905, he was awarded the imperial warrant for the creation of all Russian orders.
Albert died in 1910. He is largely considered one of the most important Russian jewellers.
Common marks include “AK” or KEIBEL.
