Constructed in white threads on black rayon base, diamond shaped, 60mm x 81mm (2 ½ x 3 ¼ inches), tunic removed, in fine condition; this insignia was worn by all who had the rank of Amtswalter.
The NSDAP Political Leader Sleeve Insignia is in the form of a black rayon diamond with a machine-woven silver-grey national eagle emblem, with a black swastika and a red eye. It was worn on the upper left sleeve.
There are two patterns. The first one features an eagle that is overall smaller than the one of the second pattern, with a smaller body, head, and shorter wingspan.
