Constructed of dyed red cotton, the exterior bearing a white disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika, unmarked and unstitched, measuring 53 mm (w) x 465 mm (l), in overall near extremely fine condition.
The NSDAP Identification Sleeve Band was worn on the lower left sleeve. Contrary to the regular NSDAP rank or member armbands, the sleeve band was only worn with civilian clothing, and it was much smaller than the armbands, measuring only 50mm.
Variations exist, for example those with the words "Partei-Bereitschaft" printed on them, but the exact purpose of these sleeve bands remains unknown.
