The Prison Service Medal was established by Queen Elizebeth by Royal Warrant on December 17, 2010. The Prison Service Medal, also known as the Prison Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, rewards operational ranks of HM Prison Services of England and Wales, Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, and Scotland for 20 years of service since April 29, 2008.
