A clasp with a raised border, constructed of silver. The obverse features the inscription ‘20 Dienst Jahre’ (20 years of service). The reverse features a horizontal pinback. On a ribbon bar, the ribbon in dark red with broad white side stripes.
The Military Long Service Bar in Silver for 20 Years was founded by Landgrave Ferdinand and was conferred upon Officers and enlisted men who rendered 20 years of faithful military service.
