    A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears the portraits of Alfonso XIII and Eugenia Victoria, the reverse bears an anchor with a shield superimposed in the center with the inscription CAVITE SANTIAGO DE CUBA 1898 , with palm leaves, with a suspension loop.
