History


This Medal was awarded to personnel within the four cavalry regiments who had fought with the Austrians against the French at Lombardia in 1796.

The "N.M." stamp on the medals' reverse are the initials of Nicola Morghen from the Mint of Naples.

The Large Silver Medal was conferred upon high ranking Officers withing the regiments.
