History


The medal was awarded on the occasion of King Rama V's second trip to Europe.

In 1897 King Chulalongkorn became the first Thai king to visit Europe. He returned to Europe in 1907, the occasion on which this medal was created.

The obverse and reverse feature Thai inscriptions.
