History


Instituted by the Sultan Sir Abu Bakar Riayat ud-din al-Mu'azzam Shah to commemorate his twenty-five years as a sultan.

The medal is silver with a ring suspension. The obverse bears the head of the Sultan surrounded by a Jawi inscription "Sultan Abu Bakar Ri'ayatua'd-dinul-muadzam Shah Yang Di-Pertuan Negri Pahang Dan Segala Ta'alok-nya". The reverse has the State Crest and the Jawi inscription "Genap Dua Puloh Lima Tahun Di-Atas Takhta Kerjaan Negeri Pahang" with the dates "1932-1957" below.

The ribbon is half white and half black with a yellow stripe down the centre of each half.
