Physical Description and Item Details


Likely of French manufacture, in silver gilt a with the characteristic Laos tri-elephant design in white and red enamels, crowned with red enameled ribbon suspension, on ornate red and yellow ribbon, with enamel loss, good/fine.

History


This Order was instituted by King Sisavang Vong. It was conferred upon Lao civilians and foreigners in recognition of civil or military merit.

This Order was last awarded in 1975.

The obverse features the name of the recipient in Lao script.
