Victoria, Kaiser-i-Hind (1649 Pte. Lakshman Poudar 8th Bo. Infy). Naming is engraved in italic script. Near very fine.

History


This medal is conferred in recognition of 15 years of distinguished service. It is awarded to Enlisted Personnel, Non-Commissioned Officers below the rank of Dafadar/Havildar, or individuals below the ranks of Petty Officer/Corporal.

The obverse Hindi inscription translates to "Truth Alone Prevails". The reverse Hindi inscription translates to "Long Service and Good Conduct".
