History

Instituted by Sultan Muda Haji 'Omar 'Ali Saif ud-din III. Conferred upon Brunei military personnel in recognition of gallant acts, and upon civilians in recognition of their support of the military. Recipients are entitled to the post nominal letters DHPNB.
