The Order of the Benefactor of the Nation (Orden del Benefactor de la Nación) was instituted by Rafael Trujillo on May 14, 1955. It was awarded to his political supporters within the country. It was discontinued on December 6, 1961, soon after Trujillo's assassination.
Presumably, the Order was awarded with three classes; I Class, II Class, and III Class. There is limited information regarding the bestowal condition.
The reverse inscription translates to "25 Years of the Glorious Era of Trujillo, Year of the Benefactor of the Fatherland".
