Physical Description and Item Details


Breast Star: in silver with red and green enamels, maker marked "A.B. & Co" (Arthus Bertrand) on the pin, measuring 81.8 mm (w) x 85.5 mm (h), vertical pinback flanked by dual stays, intact enamels. Extremely fine.

History


This Order was conferred upon Tunisian military personnel, civilians, and foreign citizens in recognition of exceptionally meritorious service to the nation.

The obverse features an inscription in Arabic translated as "Republic of Tunisia".
