The Order of Logohu was instituted by Queen Elizabeth II and the Governor-General of Papua New Guinea by the National Honours System on August 23, 2005 (the 30th Anniversary of Papua New Guinea’s independence). The Papua New Guinea Honours System was created to nationally recognise outstanding contributions made in service of the state. The new Honours System is administered alongside the Imperial Honours System.
The Member is the Fourth Class award of the Order of Logohu. It is awarded to recognise 7 years or more of commendable service to the Nation or a local community.
Recipients are entitled to the post-nominal letters ML.
There may be additional grades associated with this Order.
