History

The New South Wales Corrective Service Bravery Medal is conferred upon correctional officers for bravery.

The medal is a cross pattée with fluted rays between the arms. The centre of the cross features the New South Wales Coat of Arms surrounded by the inscription 'CORRECTIVE SERVICES N.S.W.'. A scroll with the inscription 'FOR BRAVERY' is attached below.
