History

The Military Medal of Merit was created to reward military personnel for efficient service, good character, good conduct, and good reputation. The Medal is awarded in 3 Grades. It is uncertain if the Medal is still issued.

The II Class is composed of Silver and awarded to military personnel of the lieutenant-colonel or below. The II Class Silver Medal is believed to feature a ribbon rosette.
