History

The Order of N'Oman (Wisam al-Na'Oman) was founded by Sultan Qaboos in 1982. The Order is believed to have been instituted for the Sultan's state visit to the United Kingdom in 1982 and is presented to senior members of Omani Diplomatic Corps in recognition of outstanding service of the diplomacy and foreign relations.

The Order if thought to be awarded in a single Class, however, there may be additional Classes associated with the Order. More research is necessary.

The I Class Badge is worn from a Sash and is issued with a Collar and Breast Star.

The Sash Badge features an Arabic inscription on the obverse which translates to "His Majesty Qaboos Bin Sa'eed Al Mua' tham Sultan of Oman 1403. If You are Determined Enough and God is with You, The ...  n Nothing Can Stop You."
