The Sultan's Medal for Shooting (Midal al-Ramait wa Sha'ir al-Banaduqiat 'Ali al-Sharit) was instituted by Sultan Qaboos in 1983 to reward winners of the champion shot in the annual national Omani Armed Forces small arms shooting competition.

The obverse features an Arabic inscription which translates to "The Sultan's Medal for Shooting."
