History

It is believed that the Order of Honour (Nishan-i-Kidmat) was founded by HIM Muhammad Reza Shah in 1949 as an award for faithful military service. The Order may also be known as the Order of Service and it is thought that the Order was presented in I Class along with a Medal. However, this is much uncertainty surrounding this Order. More research is needed.

There may be additional classes which are distinguished by composition and ribbon emblems, but more information is needed to verify.
