History

The 25th Anniversary of Shahanshah Aryamehr's Reign Award was established to commemorate the coronation of and granting of the title "Shahanshah Aryamehr" (King of Kings, Light of the Aryans), to Mohammad Reza Shah. It may also be known as the Silver Jubilee Award of the Reign of HIM Shahanshah Aryamehr. The Award is presented both as a Decoration and a Bronze Medal.

A gold Pahlavi crown emblem is authorized for wear on the ribbon of the Decoration.
