This company was founded in the late 19th century, most likley by X Walravens. However, the most important individual was his son, Henri (1899-1960). He led the company from roughly 1920-1950.

The company was loacted in the Joseph Claesstraat in Sint-Gillis (Brussel), first at no. 41 and later at no. 9.

In 1935, the company produced a medal at the World Exposition in Brussels. The company worked with numerous artists including Eugene De Bremaecker, Gustave Fishweiler, Julien Steppe, Paul Stoffyn and Jospeh Witterwulghe.
