History
The Young Horseman's Badge was founded by the German National Federation for the Breeding and Testing of Thoroughbreds in July of 1932. It was conferred upon boys below the age of 17 who demonstrated proficiency and skill in horsemanship.
The Badge was later recognised as an official national award under the Nazi Government.
