The Badge of Honour for Members of the National Senate of Culture was founded by the National Senate of Culture on November 28, 1936, and it was conferred upon its own members in recognition of their significant contributions to National Socialism’s cultural heritage.
The badge was designed by Professor Richard Klein from Munich.
The reverse of the badge may feature two solid rivets, or it may feature two hollow rivets. The earliest badges have two solid rivets.
