History

The N.S.F.K. (National Socialist Flying Corps) founded aero-modelling groups in both the Hitler Youth and Jungvolk as a means to foster an interest in aeronautics. The Badge was awarded to members of the organisations who successfully made and flew model aircraft.

The Type I badges are all made of cloth.

The Grade "B" Badge, the middle grade, is an oval badge with a blue-grey cloth background and matte yellow thread.
