History

The M36 Stone-Grey Trousers were originally designed for members of the Reichswehr in 1922, but following the onset of the Second World War in 1939, the trousers were issued to members of the Wehrmacht and armed SS units.

The trousers are high-waisted, have straight legs, a slash pocket on each hip, a watch pocket on the right side of the fly, and a high waist with a V-notched back and an adjustable rear waist belt. The interior of the trousers is lined with a white cotton-rayon cloth.
