The trousers used by Panzer units are long black trousers. They were used for both the service and dress uniform.
The legs are tapered at the bottom. Two buttons close the fly. There are two slanted side pockets with buttoned down flaps, a small watch pocket, and a horizontal back pocket.
On these trousers there is no piping on the outer seam, not even for Generals.
There is also a version in field-grey for armored and tank destroyer units, to get a better camouflage effect.
A reed-green denim (“Drillich”) version was used during the summer.
