History
The Special National Emblem for foreigners in the Wehrmacht was introduced in August 1942. However, it was only worn until April 29, 1943 when it was replaced by the regular German national eagle. It was worn by security and auxiliary police units, and later also by Cossack units, on the chest, above the right breast pocket.
