History
The Militia Long Service and Good Conduct Medal was established by King Edward VII by Army Order in December of 1904 to reward members of the Militia for 18 years of service and 15 annual camps. The Silver Medal was superseded by the Efficiency Medal (with "MILITIA" clasp) in 1930. Approximately 1 587 Medals were awarded.
