History
The Imperial Yeomanry Long Service and Good Conduct Medal was instituted by King Edward VII by Army Order in December of 1904. The Silver Medal was awarded to Non-Commissioned Officers and troops of the Imperial Yeomanry for 10 years of exemplary service. The Medal was made obsolete in 1908 with the introduction of the Territorial Force and the establishment of the Territorial Force Efficiency Medal. However, some Medals continued to be awarded until 1917.
