History
The United Nations Emergency Force Medal was instituted in 1957 and awarded to UN forces for 90 days or more of service on peace-keeping operations in Isreal and Egypt following the Sinai campaign between November 7, 1956, and June 17, 1967.
The Bronze Medal was awarded to troops from Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Indonesia, Norway, Sweden, and Yugoslavia.
The Medal may also be awarded posthumously.
