The Yorkshire Imperial Yeomanry Medal was instituted in 1900 and awarded to Officers and men of the Yorkshire Imperial Yeomanry who served in South Africa with the 3rd Imperial Yeomanry Battalion and the 66th Imperial Yeomanry Battalion during the Second Anglo-Boer War.

It depicts the numeral “3” and the inscription, “1901 SOUTH AFRICA 1902. The final version was awarded to members of the 66th Battalion, and depicts the numeral “66” and the inscription, “1900 SOUTH AFRICA 1901.”
