    Established by King Harald V, in commemoration of his 25th anniversary as the reigning King of Norway, this Medal was conferred upon the Royal Family, members of the Royal Court, the King's Military Staff, foreign visiting guests, Royal Police Escort, and women and individuals of authority who assisted the Royal Family during celebrations.

    The medal is conferred with an associated clasp that reads "1991-2016."
