History

The Police Service Decoration, Republic's Military Service Decoration, Border Guards Service Decoration, Fire Brigade Service Decoration, and Civil Defence Service Decoration all have the same wreath design.

All these decorations were founded by the Minister of the Interior, and they are awarded to Hungarian citizens in recognition of long service within their respective organization.

Each organization's deco ...  rations are worn on a unique ribbon.

The Civil Defence Service Decorations have a ribbon divided into two colours, with red on the left and white on the right.
