History

Members of the Waffen-SS did not wear the SS pattern swastika armband worn by other SS sub-organisations. The armbands used denoted civilian auxiliaries or temporary, special assignments.

The Waffen-SS Auxiliaries armband was worn on the upper left sleeve by civilians and auxiliary personnel in the service of the Waffen-SS. It is yellow with the black inscription "Waffen-SS". It can be machine-woven or printed.
