Physical Description
A rectangular pebbled clasp construced of blackened iron, with a raised smooth border constructed of silver. The obverse centre features the crowned monogram ‘E’. The reverse features a horizontal pinback. On a ribbon bar.
History
The Military Long Service Decoration was originally founded by Duke Ernst II to reward the long and faithful service of officers, non-commissioned officers, and enlisted men in the military.
The bars were awarded to non-commissioned officers and enlisted men.
