History
The Honour Medal for Private Industry, Labour, and Domestic Service was instituted by Prince Heinrich XIV (Junior Line) and was awarded to labourers and servants (male or female) who had rendered 30 years of distinguished service within their field.
The years began accumulating at the age of 25.
When the medal was awarded to women, it was worn on a black bow ribbon.
The stamps were cut by Hermann Weckwerth, Berlin.
