The Honour Cross for the 1814-1815 Campaigns was jointly instituted by Heinrich XIII of Reuss-Greiz, Heinrich XLII of Reuss-Schleiz, Heinrich LIX of Reuss-Lobenstein, and Heinrich LI of Reuss-Ebersdorf, and was conferred upon military personnel from the Reuss principalities who fought in the war against France from 1814 to 1815.
