Physical Description

An iron clasp with a raised silver border. The obverse features the inscription ‘15 Dienst Jahre’ (15 years of service). The reverse features a horizontal pinback. On a ribbon bar, the ribbon in dark red with broad white side stripes.

History

The Military Long Service Bar in Iron for 15 Years was founded by Landgrave Ferdinand and was conferred upon Non-Commissioned Officers and enlisted men who rendered 15 years of faithful military service.
